Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture

TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE

Use Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to treat and prevent health problems. It includes acupuncture, the use of herbal medicines (moxibustion), and various mind and body practices including massage (tui na), cupping & skin scraping (gua sha). Now, it's available exclusively at Centrepointe Laser Clinic.

Needle-less Laser Acupuncture

Traditional acupuncture involves treating health problems with needles. The modern treatment incorporates laser. Both are effective, however, many are afraid of needles. Today, laser acupuncture offers an effective treatment the way traditional needle acupuncture did, but completely painless. It is also risk free since no skin is broken. Yet, it provides multiple ways to move qi and blood in the body, providing excellent results. We offer both conventional needle acupuncture and laser (needle-less) acupuncture.

Chinese Nutritional Therapy

In Chinese medicine, nutrition is considered the primary medicine of choice that encompasses the energetics of foods. Every food has a type of energy in addition to its physical components: foods are warming or cooling, drying or moistening, and so on. Different foods also affect different organs of the body in the Chinese system, so that a patient’s diet may be altered to specifically target an organ. Therefore, the Chinese system considers how food affects the body, on an energetic level. This therapy contributes to remediation of an illness or disease, assists you in establishing a healthy diet from varied sources of whole foods, and helps you select foods for your specific needs and physical constitution.
